Looking for some ideas for a good simple flash bracket for the D2X. I would love to know what you are using and how happy you are with the bracket.

I'm using the perfect portrait kit by really right stuff. It's expensive and worth it, just like the D2X. ;)

    custom bracket junior

a bracket, helps to reduce red eye
    reduce shadows
    throws the flash behind subject

bracket needs to place flash head 8-14in. above focal plane

custom bracket, is solid, does all of the above, and can be camera mounted and adopted for a tripod. it is made for camera mounting, has a handle. works great.

rrs is lens mounted, so is kirk,
nothing against rrs or kirk, but these brackets are not for general use
ask rrs and kirk and they will tell you that.

you don't have to spend 400.00 for a good solid professional bracket. get past the mine cost more than yours syndrome and buy something that does what you really need it for.

you don not have to believe me, go to cutombracket.com and check it out.

the one thing i have learned is to do my own research, then ask questions.

then we can say the blind is leading the one eyed person!
