What does IQ and AF-S mean?

    Sorry for the really stupid question, but I can't seem to find an answer for what IQ is.

    Also, what exactly is AF-S (as opposed to AF)? The Nikon website list all the other acronyms except AF-S.

    Feeling a bit :Confused:

    AF-S could mean singlle shot also
    AF-C means continous shooting.

    Heck I did not know what an F stop was

    I believe AF is always Auto Focus

    Whether you add
    D - Distance
    S - Single or Silentwave
    I - Integrated
    ....
