What!? Football in the UK?

    Yes, the American kind. A little background.......these are adult amateur leagues played in the summer. There are about 75 teams in the UK split between a few divisions. There are another 75 or so at the college/University level that play in the winter. Both play at a roughly high school level. Almost all are Brits with only a few Americans in the league. It’s a very playable game here.

    Don’t let these NFL games coming to London fool you. The league in Germany is at a much higher level as it is semi-pro. Several ex-college players play in Germany.

    The game is played all over Europe. National teams play each other from time to time as well.
