No its not a 1.4G. That is definately a 50/1.8G

I think it's a case of premature notification.

Most likely the web page was inadvertently displayed before the press release.

Nice! I saved it as a PDF. Finally we're getting our small AFS prime updates! Yay!

Come to think about it, I'm convinced these aren't accidents...Nikon secretly releases these so-called leaks, keeps quite and then makes an official announcement later. Nikon resorts to word of mouth type chatter to build up buzz!

But where the heck is our 80-400 VR and 300 f/4 updates? Grrrr.....

I too think this hasn't been leaked by accident. Nikon will gage the response and decide on the price accordingly.

Would love to see a pricetag around €150.- This combined with a 35mm af-s 1.8 and maybe later a 85mm af-s 1.8 would make a great prime starter set!
