DP Nikon Forums
As above plus CorvetteForum and the FM For Sale Forum.
The DP nikon forums mostly. I try to keep it in the D70/D50 forum as theres too much measurebating and "omg here comes the D200" threads in the D100/D1/D2 forum. If it isn't that then its another FF debate.
I'm glad I found this place
Texas Photo Forum - Fun Site!
Aquatic Photo Forum - Fun site!
MAAST-Local Reef Club - Fun Site!
Fred Miranda - Just browse
Nikonians - Just borwse
ReefCentral - Giant Reef Club -> Kind of like DPR but reef stuff
DP for Reviews and read the forums I do not participate there
I belong to couple others but cannot remember what they are because I rarely visit them.
Mostly hang out here though.
Oh and the cafe!
This is always number 1 on my list since I found it, then DPreviews Kodak talk (very friendly for Kodak P&S, unlike the rest of the forums there) and once in a while I will over to the Nikionian D70 forum.
Then there are the forums for the Motor City Mechanics UHL Hockey team that I photograph.
Primarily here, of course, but also:
FM People forum
DPR D2 forum
DPR Lighting forum
Audiworld B7 forum
also visit OMP
Dpreview - still good for updates and reviews
Fred Miranda - for user reviews on lenses and photo viewing only
Google Earth forums
As in Sig Sauer????
If so I applaud you for selecting such fine German engineering.
My favorite is the P228 and is carried often.
Very interesting thread. My first response is too darned many! :frown:
Since Nikon Cafe started up this is the only forum I actively participate in on a regular basis. Other forums include -
DPR for reviews, a quick scan of the D100/D1/D2 thread, and very seldom to ask a technical question in one of the other threads.
NatureScapes and Nature Photographers Net - both very good sites and I used to be an active participant in both, but now the Cafe is better, more fun and much easier to get a group of folks together for a shoot.
Rob Galbraith and Fred Miranda - scan only for interesting posts, and occasionally ask a technical question. RG is especially good at maintaining a list of version updates of photo software.
Nikonians only to sell stuff.
Nikon Digital Organization which I look at rarely only because I've shot with David Cardinal, who is Moose Peterson's sidekick. I also look at Moose's site (not a forum) just to see what he is up to.
I also actually go out to shoot occasionally, spend much longer than I should have to on post-processing, eat and sleep. For some reason my wife loves me anyhow.
Photograpy: Nikon Cafe, Fred Miranda, Nikonians and DPreview
Duck Hunting: Msducks and duck hunters refuge
Sailing: Latitudes and Attitudes, and Renegade Cruisers.
That pretty well covers all my hobbies as of right now
#1 Nikon Cafe
#3 Luminous Landscape
I quite going to the Sig site since I sold my P226. Dumb move wish I still had it.
A fine piece indeed. I was more of a custom 1911 man myself when I was a competitive action pistol shooter
here, DPReview d100/D1/D2, D70/50, and Nikon Lens forums, Nikonians all around including manual film bodies discussion and B&W/Color Film forums
Ok, here's my list,
DP Nikon Forums D70/50, D/1, LENS AND FUJI SLR.
I'm I the only one here who reads and posts at Digital Grin?
I also look at the Winston Rod forum from time-to-time (flyfishing).
Nikon Cafe is numero uno, however.
