    Swallow fast:

    Keep it at distance:

    Eat it head-first:

Try to squeeze it until the eyes pop out:

    Engage in a stare-down:

    Eat it underwater:

    Spit it out!
  2. Truly great, the eyes have it!

A very interesting series. I like all of these very much. The suspense is killing me, did he eat it or not?

Thanks guys. Yeah Andy, the bird ate the fish. It ate so many, it started catching them and spitting them out. I had so many shots of it with fish that I decided to do something funny with them.
  5. Great series Hunter. Looks like you were right above it!
  6. Wonderful - great series!
  7. Excellent series Hunter. You must have had a great viewing position on these shots. Very well done!

Thanks David, Sandi and Louie. I was on a narrow ledge halfway up a wall below the dam. It's about 10 feet above the water and the heron came within about 15 feet of me. There were fishermen casting over my head from the wall up above.
  9. Super series, and with humor too!
