My concern is that my wife won't know the real value of my equipment and just give them away for free, but at the same time I can't tell her the actual value of it or she'll kill me! :D oh well, we're dead either way :D
How well do I understand you worries ! But the good side of it is that, once you'll be dead, nobody will tell you off anymore about how much you spent !

Sounds like the general consensus among those who have responded is you really don't care what happens to your photos once you die.

Correct. Those photos would be the least of my concern at that point. First priority would be to convince St Peter to let me in.

If your grandfather had been a pianist, would you want a recording of him with his trio?
Would you want a recording of every time he ever played?
