My wife would probably tell you that I need to lose some weight and get some smaller-boy pants.
Well, that makes 2 of us. Just remember, energy is neither created nor destroyed, just transferred. And I know where it is transferred to in this family. If I was a Griz filling up for winter, I would be considered well feed.
OTOH, a Western-styled shirt with two large patch chest pockets has solved the problem for me...or a fishing shirt. They come in long and short sleeve models, and they do look sort of stylish! Cooler weather...my Bush Jacket, or one of my Military field jackets. Four LARGE pockets, and the civilian models come in solid black and tan, and sometimes other colors. Another solution..."cargo"-style pants/shorts with the two large pockets on the side. They hold a ton of stuff.
I do wonder, about these people you see...a size XXL or so, shoehorned into size L pants, with cell phones stuck in their hip pockets. Those cell phones must be designed rugged, or they would break in half when those persons go to sit down! One of the mysteries of the ages!

Photo vest here. Never shoot without one, I have several. What do we get dad for Xmas/Bday? Surely a photo vest. I think I have about 10.
I've never tried a photo vest because I know it would be too hot for me, especially during warm temperatures.
I've never had a problem heat wise. In summer months over a t-shirt, no problem.
In the summer, anything over a tee-shirt would be a problem for me.
The Domke vest is great for cold weather, adds extra warmth! For the warmer months, it has a vented back which helps a lot.

That said, I love my cargo pockets, gotta have a place for that darned cell phone (And I have just an iPhone 6s)
No doubt about it that that would be an upgrade from how I normally look.
Yep, one for keys, one for glasses, one for other pair of glasses, one for polarizer filter. Oops! Ran out of pockets; nowhere to put a lens cap.
