If any of you have read both of the following books, please tell me which one was more helpful to you:

    • Understanding Exposure: How to Shoot Great Photographs with a Film or Digital Camera
    • Exposure and Lighting for Digital Photographers Only

I have a good general understanding of exposure already, but would like to improve it further.

    Any advice appreciated
    Thanks

Ditto on this recommendation. . . very good, very easy to read and understand. Takes a lot of the mystery out of exposure.

I'm ordering the petersen book myself, after seeing it recommended here and in another thread.

To save you a little research, the best price is at Amazon. Half.com has it a few dollars cheaper used, but I'm willing to pay $2 extra for a new copy.

  5. Brian Peterson's book is a great read. I haven't read the other one.
