Its my favorite species among swans...

Yeah i try to disturb wild animals as little as possible but this one most def spotted me. This pair of swans was quite shy and kept their distance.

I also like the pose and the fact that is was only minutes left of partial sunlight and they mostly kept in the shadow. But got a couple shots with sun on the head/beak.

Beautifully captured and very nice pose! For me, the bright grasses in the foreground compete with the swan for attention, since the viewer's eye naturally goes to the brightest part of the image. An alternate crop which reduces the brightness at the bottom of the image would increase the swan's impact within the image. Then the viewer's eye would go to the yellow bill of the swan....and not the bright grasses. YMMV.......
