    great photo... i love the "face" look... and congratulation on your new lens.

    i ordered 300/2.8 2 days ago and im dying here waiting for it to arrive... why I always do things like that around the weekend...

    all very good shots, love no 2 great moment, colors, composition - the eye above the water makes it... if the eye would be below the the image would be very different I think

    those nitty gritty details :) 

    good job and congrats on a new lens

    so I take it you like your new lens...:) 

    I dont think I have ever shot the 400 2.8 past 4.5..... prefered shooting at 3.5...as it is extremely sharp...and the out of focus areas are stunning..........

    +1. What are you a body builder? Even with a pod I wouldn't want to lug that thing around the zoo all day. With that said, the pics you got were certainly worth it!
