why I don't shoot landscapes..

    Tim, this has some good content in it -- it just needs a little push. I can never remember what the Orton technique (Gale's suggestion) does, but this image could benefit from selectively increasing the saturation in the sky, and adding some "saturation contrast" to the rest of the image. [doesn't take much] Some might also argue that a bit of the foreground needs to be cropped, but that depends on what you want to emphasize.
