why i use a uv filter

    not starting a debate, but some fun pictures of the uv filter on my newly aquired 12-24 taking some abuse....

    first some dog snot:

  2. How timely!! Just this past Labor Day, I was sitting on a bench in the Dana Point Marina when someone's dog walked right up to my camera, shoved its nose into the lens hood and licked the filter! I told the guy walking the dog that was why I keep a UV filter on the lens. I good laugh was had by all. :biggrin:
     
  3. sounds like it should be called an animal filter rather than a UV filter
