Why only flowers get all the attention?

  1. Why not the leaves, the constant companions of those lovely flowers?

The flowers always hog the limelight in all the photographs. The leaves are left like those junior artistes in the movies, who have to be there but the attention is always on the main actors. They are relegated to the back ground like the leaves. When the flowers are shot, the poor leaves form part of the bokeh.

So I thought why not shoot the leaves. This is part of my practice pf macros with the extension tubes.
