Wide zooms>This pretty much covers it

  1. I am sure it's been posted but in my search for threads while briefly considering the Tamron 11-18 I found this. I know people have differing opinions on Ken Rockwell but I think you would be hard pressed to find a better side by side review of all the approx 11-20 zooms.

    Now to decide if the Nikon is worth the diff for the amount I use one.

    Reason I am sending link is because I found very few posts devoted to the Tamron specifically
     
  2. Thanks will look.. Now I found this and may be leaning here. I have a Tokina 19-35 from film so the 12-24 would be able to pick up what I lost with the 300. Just wondering if I would miss the high end more on the 11-16 than I would gain on 1mm wide end. I don't really know that I care that much about the extra speed.
