Wife portrait

  1. Paul, as requested, here is one of my wife I took last week on the Orient-Express. It was taken with the 28 1.4 at 1.4.

  5. Beautiful lighting with this image Pete. Your wife is lovely and the setting shows this off to good advantage. Excellent image.

    Believe it or not I'd set the camera to auto WB and it didn't need adjusting at all. I had actually underexposed it by about .5 stop. The advantage of shooting RAW I suppose. However, it does suffer from noise.

    Very nice, all the way around! One of the best examples of low-light shots with this lens I've seen.

    Could you have increased the exposure then decreased it in the Raw conversion to diminish the noise, rather than underexpose? I do not see any objectionable noise in this photo though.
