wild mountain violet

  1. Not sure of the actual; name of this violet, will look it up later and post it unless someone else beats me to it.

  5. Thank you all for the comments. the guy that was shooting with me was rather woried that the color would come out blue. I did minor PS corrections, cropped and sharpened. He was shooting velvia.

    Great shot. I find that getting the correct white balance with violet/purple flowers is critical. You have done a good job here. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Hi Dave ! Great shot ! The flower really POPS out !

    Some colors seems to be more difficult to render -out of camera- with digital, but in this case, you hit it !
