Wild Parrots Of Telegraph Hill

Discussion in 'Nikon DX DSLR Forum' started by Saratoga Lefty, May 28, 2005.

  1. Here's some shots of the "Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill" in San Francisco. Saw the movie last week and we went up and down Telegraph Hill until we got lucky and quickly snapped off some shots before the flock took off. Someone pointed out there is a little bit of front focusing and I'm not surprised as we were totally winded and standing in the middle of a street trying to hand hold a 70-200 VR with 1.7 TC. Next time I'll be more prepared.

Just for you, Lefty, I put em in this time!

Can't believe there are wild Parrots in CA! I think you could'a bumped the EV up to + instead of - on these, yes? the 1st one's not too bad, the 2nd one is good, but the last is definitely a bit under.
