    it's nice...almost looks like it's not a flower really....very unasuming. looks tiny...how big is it? again, another great shot!

  3. Leigh,
    I always appreciate your comments and the fact that you look at mmy pictures. It is not a large flower, but this speciman is about 3" in leaf span on the flower.

    Really fine job on this one, Dave. Trilliums make really great models, huh?

  7. Jerry,
    Thanks for the comments. It was shot with the 200mm micro. I love these plants and on this day after the rain the lighting was very nice.

  8. Thank you Greg. You get your new gitzo today, right?

    Wish you were coming to Merritt. 8)

  10. Thanks Frank. I wish I were too. I will join you all on some shoot somewher, sometime, you can count on that.

  11. Nice pic of a spectacular plant. I wish it was spring when I were in Virginia last time. Didn't see many unusual flowers in the Blue Ridge Mountains in July.

  12. Harry,
    Thank you. If you ever have the opportunity to return I would be happy to host you to some nice targets.

    Dave,

    Outstanding. Beautiful flower. Just love the color. Looks 3-D. Great job.

  14. thanks Gale. I appreciate your comments, even the giggle on the advertisement post.

  15. Dave;

    Beautiful flowers. Nice capture too. The leaf seems to jump off the screen. It really shows what that lens in capable hands can do.
