Wildebeest in Tanzania

Discussion in 'Birds' started by bobhoge, Oct 28, 2005.

  1. I noted that I had not posted some of the other odd animals we saw on our trip to Africa.

The Wildebeest is sure odd looking and often hangs out with the Zebras.

  2. Bob,
You sure grabbed some great shots on this fantastic trip. I have watched for your posts.
One thing is for sure (????) if form follows function I am confused as to what providence had in mind with this animal.

    Bob,
It is so wonderful to see such great animals out in the wild with so much room to roam and run.

I feel sorry for them in the zoo. People are encroaching on to much wild life land.

  4. Great to see the wildebeest of Tanzania again. I lived there for six years, your pictures brought back happy memories of the great migrations of wildebeest and zebra on the Serengeti plains.
