Wildflowers on the forest floor

This year I have vowed to do more wide-angle shots of Spring wildflowers to show them in their environment. Here are couple of my first (not so successful) tries.

Perhaps the biggest challenge in this approach is getting down and then back up at my age. :(

I like these. The first one is my favorite. I think it’s a neat idea.

Thanks, Terri. I need to get much closer to the blossoms to make this approach work well, but there were, um,...,extenuating circumstances with these two. The first was on a very steep slope and I was having a difficult time maintaining my balance. The second was on the edge of a very muddy spot.

But all of that goes with the territory.

At least you got out to try. We are in southern Utah this week. Spring is starting here but I’ve been so busy with grandkids that I haven’t photographed many flowers yet.
