Hello all,

This is my first post to this forum. I retired my job as a civil engineer three years ago and moved to Fernie, BC. Photography has been a hobby since the 70's but now I'm planning to devote more time to it. I finally retired my trusty D70, purchased a D800e and some new glass in January and really loving it. I've had a few recent outings in the foothills of the Rockies, about 80 kilometres east of Fernie and it's become my favourite place to shoot (so far).

Here's a photo of some wind turbines at sunset, just west of Pincher Creek, Alberta.
