The movie is about the relationship between the owner of a French winery, his son and daughter-in-law, the winery's longtime winemaker who is dying of pancreatic cancer, and to a lesser extent the winemaker's son, who is also a winemaker who has temporarily returned because of his father's ill health. Beautiful cinematography, acting, writing and directing. Most of the scenes take place in the vineyard, the winery and the residences of the primary characters on the winery's property. The movie is in French with English subtitles. It has a highly surprising ending.
It has a great line in it, something to the effect of, "You don't know the next drink is one too many until you've drunk it." I wish I had recorded it verbatim.
