Winter and Prose Combine

  1. Our winter isn't leaving much behind to shoot, had to settle for these today.

    #1 - Perilous Propellers

Where others left, yet hold they on
    These stragglers, left behind
    The friendship circle, broken, gone
    The winter has been kind.

    #2 - Decay

With form deformed and toll being took
    And natures path, led way
The remnants of what once had look
    Now dangles in decay

    #3 - Twisted Torture

A cry for help, a last ditch made
    Attempt to reach the skies
Alas, too late, soon good-bye bade
    One more of Winters' cries.

    #4 - Desolation

A barren twig, a branch now light
It's weight robbed by the sun
And dry, and heat, and nature's plight
    Left standing, none, but one.

    #5 - Delicate Danglers

    Off-set against a carpet green
And veils of white, so bland
A last ditch effort can be seen
For pride to take it's stand

You are indeed a poet! "As anyone can plainly see, a poet I will never be. For when it comes to writing verse, I know of no one who does it worse." I wrote this little ditty while taking a writing course many years ago in New York.
Would love to see more of your work! Nice job.

Hi Kevin, I tried to click on the link you provided, but it came up with "No Matches." Could put up another one.

Macro shooting in winter is always a challenge, however I think your good 'eye' let you do very well. I am particually fond of the first and last images, the colour really works for me. Your writings are impressive also.

  10. sorry about that, I wonder if it's not "restricted" to the owner of the usename (i.e. me) - lol

What you can do is click on my username at left of this reply, then a box will come up with profile data.
The first windows shows Forum Info, then below that "Find all threads started by Kevin"

    Selecting that should hopefully work?
