I fired an SB-800 using the Yongnuo YN622N-TX controller mounted on the hot shoe of my Z6 and with Yongnuo YN622N II trigger transceiver mounted on the flash unit. I would assume the same would work with an SB-600 but I'm not a gear head, so verify that.
I have also used the Yongnuo YN622N-TX on a Z7 with a YN622N (not the ii) on SB600 and SB700 flashes and it worked fine. What I could not get working was to use either an SB500 or SB700 as commander on a YN622N on the Z7 to control other flashes on YN622N's. Z7 had trouble recognizing the flash on the YN622N. I don't think it was operator error because I could get it all to work on a D7200 or D500.
From firsthand experience, I can confirm that both Godox XPro and Yongnuo YN622 transmitters will work in the application @SFAP described. However, changes to flash power settings have to be made on the SB-600 units themselves - remote adjustment will not work. Also, TTL will not work.
