Emma is officially *2*! Let the fun begin::wink:

We had a little birthday party for her. Her cake; although it appears to be a melting mountain   is actually a "Dora the Explorer" cake.

I captured this shot for her Daddy who is currently deployed and couldn't be with us for Emmas birthday.

That's a really unusual capture, I like it a lot. Happy birthday Emma. Enjoy the "terrible twos" which really last until 4, they tell me.

    Hi Mitch:smile:

Thanks, one of those shots that I could have used a better lens and settings...but..it works

Thanks for the vote of confidence Terri! Sometimes you get what you can get with the lens that happens to be on the camera:biggrin:

Thanks Sonya, I am glad the candles shed just enough light to capture it.

It was imperative for me to get some good shots of Emma's birthday. My son-in-law was very sad to be missing his little princess' 2nd birthday.:frown:
He is scheduled to come home in another 2 mos.:smile:

I think another lens would have taken away from this beautiful capture - love the low light and expression on her face. And I bet her father will love it - best wishes to your family, the next two months should go real quick and he'll be home soon :)
