I went on a shoot yesterday to PA to photograph wolves.

Here is the link if anyone is interested in visiting the sanctuary http://www.wolfsancpa.com/

    I shot this with D2xs and 70-200.

Cool picture. This may sound like a dumb question, but were you behind a fence or were you actually in the field with the wolves?

    Hi Jonathan -

I was shooting through a fence at an aperature of 2.8. I'm not sure I would want to be in an open field with the look on his face.
  4. Instant goosebumps!  That is one beautiful wolf! Awsome capture!

Generally wolves are very gentle animals. I know people who had either wolves or wolf hybrids. Very timid. That aside this is a beautiful specimen and a beautiful shot.
  6. Nice job. Lovely animal. His face almost looks like a Belgium Tervuren.
