Wondering on a feature of D700..

Hi guys
of course with D700 have been released new lenses and some of them were already on the market (namely, the 24 PC-E or the 24-70) but I found interesting and maybe a bit revealing the fact that D700 has a built-in flash which can cover up to 24 mm. I think this is a subtle way to tell us: other lenses more or less pro in the future will start from this focal lenght.
What do you think?

The lens they show it with on the Nikon USA site is the 24-120, so I guess that makes sense.

What does the D200 and D300 built in flash cover?

Yes, I noticed it too, but I'm prone to think that soon we'll see other new lenses, probably another 24-120 or so. I'd bet within next PMA

I think 17 or 18mm on DX, which is 26-28mm on FX
