Just came in today, upgraded to a Nikon D90 (from a D60 w/ kit lenses), with 18-70 f/3.5-4.5 AF-S ED lens. Picked up an Ape Case to carry it around.

Thanks everyone, really happy with it so far.
Here's a teaser shot, from just walking around today.

Congratulations! The D90 with the excellent 18-70 lens makes a nice combo. Now, if you also buy a 70-300 VR you will be ready for lots of fun with just those two lenses.
In case you are not aware of it the 18-70 lens has a metal mount, important for some photographers, 3 LD glass, 1 aspherical element, AFS and weather sealing and the images are awesome. It is a very practical lens.
Enjoy your upgrade.

Thanks both of you, loving the upgrade. I researched, A LOT. From what I found, the IQ from the 18-70 was substantially better than the 18-105, and my decision has proven true :)
