Even though I'm not a fan of the video mode, at least it works with auto focus now.


It would be cool if the CF/SD slot is simply a module they could retro fit the D300 with also.


Also anyone notice the memory card door release is no longer on the back?

Hmm...I guess this is nice news...idk, i just hope the prices on used stuff start to come down a bit. I'm trying to save up for a used lens and every time i get close to what they go for Nikon adjusts up and ppl adjust with the market...

D3000 is basically a D60 with:
- 11 point AF with 3D
- 3" screen but low-res
- Scene Recognition
- 95% viewfinder

and D300s is the same as D300 except:
- 7fps w/o battery
- Dual card slot
- 720p video

Correct me if I'm wrong. I am somewhat disappointed but I guess it's a good minor update bump meanwhile.
