Wood Duck family, Reifel Bird Santuary, Vancouver, Part II (Warning SEVERE cutness!)

Discussion in 'Birds' started by andreasb, Jun 26, 2007.

  1. Part II, So I wandered along in Reifel, and got some distant pictures of a Male Wood duck on low light, a bit blurry and was telling my friend Elizabeth that it would be fun to get some pictures of Wood ducklings some time, and then suddenly in front of my feet, on the path - there they where!

Not afraid at all, so close I had to back up, 500mm is way to much for this, 17-55 would have been great! So a lot of these shots have virtually now DOF at all, but it was cool anyway:
