Wood Ducks

The male Wood ducks are beginning to show their beautiful breeding colors. The other evening had a couple of males fly in close enough for me to get a couple of shots.

Great colors, especially the water! #3 does it for me, even though the water patterns are a bit distracting.!

Nice set, Louie. IMO most birds don't show well front on but it works with the woody. I really like that first shot. All three are excellent and the water adds to the overall image.
