We just had a couple yearly shows in Lake Tahoe earlier this month, one in Cornelian Bay (North) and one in the Keys (South Shore): Concours de Elegance and South Tahoe Wooden Boat Classic. cc welcome. {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {} {}
a nice series of images the colors need a bit of correcting, on my monitor but.... i love these boats well done
Very nice series. I always liked those old wood boats. I still recall the sounds of those boats from my youth in the Adirondacks. Like old cars, airplanes and motorcycles, they are moving art. Thanks for sharing your images.
Bill, thanks for the nice words. Spalding12, I will check my monitor color balance and tones. The sun was at 11:00am and it was bright in the alpine air; I will work on my colors, thanks
Great shots. I haven't seen those old inboards for many years. Friends had a beautiful Century Coronado. Did I see an old Thompson in one of your shots? Ken
Ken, not sure, I didn't notice a Thompson entered-but I will inquire. I know there were a couple Besotes Golden Arrows, some of the Century Coronados and Ravens, a bunch of ChrisCrafts, Hacker Crafts, Gar Woods and Rivas. Thanks for the kind words
