Tried an older 80-200/2.8 today and... and it is just fantastic! The lens is a tad soft but the colors are simply astounding and I just love the Bokeh from it...

Funny - I looked at the three pictures and had a thought about the people in them. Then I saw the byline under your avatar and it was the same thought!

That first photo of the older gentleman has a lot of character, regardless what kind on lens you may have used.... it it a very nice photo with a big statement...!

I have the 80-200 2.8 and love it for just those reasons. Great for low light and concerts as well...
Big and heavy but worth it!
