Worlds Oldest Camera.....

  1. This appears to be a specimen of the camera marketed by Daguerre, a Paris artist, who experimented with various processes that led to the invention of photography, in 1839, as we know it today. There are only about a dozen or so complete cameras of his in existance I think and I expect this will easily fetch $2M or more. Authentic replicas even fetch major dollars.

That's very cool. I'm not sure I would want to let it go if I was the one who inherited it. Although selling it would fund some very nice and very long glass!
