Seems like i am always at the poor end of my 70-300 DX lens, an i am getting closer to making the switch to a better lens.
Right now i am looking at swapping my nikkor 70-300 DX for a Sigma 60-600 sport.
I have 2 concerns about getting the sigma ATM. First is there any firmware issues i should be looking for, like on the older sigma lense when on the ftz.
Second is it prone to sucking in dust like the nikkor?
(reason for the sigma 60-600 is its compact size since i travel by foot bicycle and motorcycle and it must fit in my backpack)
One of my main reasons i want to change soon, is my 70-300 is always sucking in alow of dust behind the front lens. and after 250 it looses sharpness and gets very soft.
(ight now i am starting to get tired of the 70-300 and am missing some reach)
