Would you guys like to have a challenge/contest ?

I was thinking of having a special Challenge between the members of this Community.

I had participated in challenges like the famous STF challenge

We could create a challenge room in this forum and go with it.

I have already done this a couple weeks ago to another site as I was the host of this challenge. I have the rules already written and all I would have to decide here is the subject of the first challenge.

Then we post our challenge pictures, vote on them and the picture that has the most votes have the owner host the next challenge ...


Would you be interested in something like that ?

Just seemed fitting, somehow.

We went through some rather lenghty discussion on another forum regarding "the challenge" in regards to post-processing, what is acceptable, etc., and came to the conclusion that there should be 2 categories, "artsy" where anything goes, and "minimal", a much more subjective set. How did you, or did you address that at all, on your other forum?

From NJ and you want warm, sandy beaches? What the HECK is wrong with you? Why don't you just give the first one to some of those dange Floridianimeiners for crying out loud. "Warm Sandy Beaches" indeed....

Now, I think the challenge topic should be "smoking volcanoes with growing lava domes", yeah, that's the ticket, everybody has one of those close by, right?
