    Hi there

I was quite happy with this product shot (a birthday present) I took just for fun. The shot was handheld with available light, D300 + 105mm VR, B&W'ed revealing the red and masked in Photoshop.

    What do you think ? C & C welcome

I think the watch manufacturer needs to use your photo in its advertising...

  3. nice shot
but, i still think it would have been better:
    1. tripod mounted
    2. f/22 or more
    3. long exposure
    4. much greater depth of field

the OOF 12 o'clock area of the watch isn't pleasing to my eye
    LOVE the red

ad 4. I agree, it could be better. Generally this is the kind of shot perfectly suited for a tilt / shift lens and then it wouldn't even need f/22

    Thanks for the comments.

I really like this shot and the creative use of the mask - looks good!

    Nice present too!
