Any one used the either the Wt-1 /1a or newer 2 version with D2x or h?

any pitfalls.

I fancy being able to transmit direct to a laptop while at a job.

Thanks

Ad-hoc sux, best to either get a Soft-AP (access point) for your computer (difficult!!) or get a D-LInk AP730 (I think, I'm not near it at the moment) - a mini-Access Point powered by the USB port.
Personally don't bother with encryption/security. WT-2 is a lot faster than WT-1 (obviously). Bring spare batteries !!!!
For software, I wrote my own FTP server (does more than a normal FTP server), but for normal use, Windows built in FTP server (part of IIS) is fine. If you want to show clients the images straight away you'll need something else.

Ok thanks, I will give Wt-2 a miss as i wanted to show clients photos after they have had their meal. Might as well just download Cf cards.

Thanks
