Thank You Tim
I find many birds are more active after a rain storm.
Another very nice capture Gary.
Now I know where all my birds have gone. Alabama!!
Thank you Gale
Yep and we are keeping them!!!:tongue:
Great to hear from you!!
Beautiful Gary! I'm beginning to think you couldn't shoot a bad picture if you tried! LOL! Keep em comin!
Oh I shoot more than a few!!!!
What a great shot, Gary! LOVE that pose!!! I don't know my various birdies all that well, but is one way to identify the Yellow Crowned Night Heron or the Black Crowned Night Heron the beady red eyes?
No they don't look at all the same.
Thanks! Reason I asked, we've got something out here that I've taken a few photos of but I am not sure what he is....
Connie See Gordon Large Post for the difference
Thanks, Gary! Mine definitely looks like Gordon's....now I know what he is!
Your welcome and Congratulation on your shot.
There is a distinct difference between the eyes of a BCNH and a YCNH - the YCNH's are more orange than they are red; which is just about as easy as remembering the YCNH has head stripeS while the BCNH has only a wide head stripe
WOW, stunning shot!
