  11. What a great shot, Gary! LOVE that pose!!! I don't know my various birdies all that well, but is one way to identify the Yellow Crowned Night Heron or the Black Crowned Night Heron the beady red eyes?

  18. There is a distinct difference between the eyes of a BCNH and a YCNH - the YCNH's are more orange than they are red; which is just about as easy as remembering the YCNH has head stripeS while the BCNH has only a wide head stripe
