Yellow Iris Timelapse

Discussion in 'Macro, Flowers, Insects, and Greenery' started by Beezle, May 17, 2007.

  1. Further processed the yellow iris timelapse I shot last week. 17 MB QuickTime movie here. If not there will be shortly.

Trying out some new ideas here. Not completely happy with the results, composition, etc., but just moving along and working out what I want from these.

I'm enjoying following along with your experiments. It looks like one of the obstacles do doing what you're trying to do is that you have to be vigilant and constantly check your subject to see what compositional changes you want to make. Reminds me a little of roasting a turkey.

Thanks for the visual feast, Ed!

  5. Thanks Gale! Thanks DAB.

There is a quite a bit of keeping an eye on things, but what you see here is my trying to take advantage of 12 MP of data by zooming around to interesting things going on. Really just an experiment at this point.

I'll make 100 of these before I'm through.

Yep, another lovely example. I really like the composition on this one...and that one of them didn't open only added to the interest.
