Hi Gill, the warbler is certainly a beautiful bird. I might suggest a little tighter crop to improve the image, perhaps 1/3 off the left hand side. What lens and camera were you using? Don't you love photographing little birds, they are so photogenic.
Thanks for the feed back. I will give the crop a try. Here is the camera info:
Nikon D2h 300mm f/4
1/350s f/11.0 at 300.0mm ISO200
I do love shooting birds. I wish we had more variety in Rochester so I do not always have to travel to get some shots.
Very nice Gil!!
Great photo ops at the Kodak building in Rochester. Kodak has a nest box up on the building with Peregrive falcons. 5 eggs in nest now.
Did you know wbout that. ???
live cam, ton of info.
thanks for the comment.
Yes, I know about the falcon cam. I believe that this is the fifth year they have done that. They have become the official Rochester birds.
Beautiful bird, I agree with Gordon a tighter crop would work with this shot, if you have the 300 f4 as I do you would love the 1.4 tele on it it is sharp as can be and you only loose one fstop
