On a drive through the refuge I saw this little warbler in a tree. It did not stick around long, but long enough for a few snaps.

The pose and focus are very good in #2, in spite of a challenging background.

Cute little guy. I like the position of the bird in the second shot. I'm always amazed at how they hang on to branches at various angles, branch diameters, surface textures, etc.

Thanks Karen. The branches were not too bad but as I have said, I am partial to (shore)birds on a bare beach.

These little ones need to be hardy to survive.
