It was extremely windy and cold this morning but I did manage a couple of decent shots of a beautiful little warbler male....

Little birds were never my thing until this spring, but I've grown to love the intricacies of their coloration and markings..something you can't appreciate if they just go whizzing by you :)

I waited an hour for this little guy to show up this morning. I knew exactly where I wanted to shoot him and low and behold...he actually showed up there....that's pretty lucky as far as I'm concerned!

Everything you just mentioned is why small songbirds are my favorite photographic subjects. I am going to try and get as many as I can on film and as many of those that i can in flight if possible.

This little guy was a real singer....the entire time I was there he only quit to catch his breath :)
