We had the privilege of visiting Yellowstone National Park a couple of weeks ago, during the Bison rut, so had plenty to shoot. Got a couple of other critters, too.

    Bison bellowing:

Pronghorn Antelope enjoying the afternoon sun:

Breakfast with a Mule Deer doe:

    Elk crossing the river:

    Elk bull enjoying evening chew:

Sometimes you're good, sometimes you're lucky. This shot was a bit of both. We planned where we wanted to be, but didn't realize we would get to see the elk crossing the river. I took a series of shots from all of the elk still in the water to all of the elk on shore and working their way up the hill.

One of a number of the sights we were treated to on this trip.
  4. Wilee - Awesome image of the elk crossing the river! All are nice photos, the elk is the stand-out
