  1. I went to Missoula, Montana on business last week and decided to go to Glacier for a couple of days. It was my first ever NP visit with my first ever DSLR.

2 and 5, are very nice, my favorites here. 1 is really the only one not my thing so much.

Excellent photos Danielle. I remember some of those views from over 55 years ago -- must get back there again some time:smile:

Thanks for sharing these, gives me a little taste of what I missed since we tried to put together a trip there this summer but it didn't quite work out (maybe next year).

The reflection shots are really great. I love the way curving line of the shore ties into the reflection in #2, that really makes the shot for me. In #5 the repeating shapes of the mountains receding into the distance combined with the symmetry of the reflection make for a very compelling composition. #5 has a pretty strong purple cast though, shifting the color balance more towards yellow and green would help quite a bit.

  12. Excellent images... Glacier is such a beautiful place. When we went through Logan pass several years ago, it was snowing and very gray and wet. Thanks for sharing your photos.

  17. Tom, Arthur, Lisa, Karen and William - thank you as well.

All photos taken with the much-maligned vacation lens 18-200 VR and yes, I plan on going back to Glacier as soon as reasonably possible.
  18. I'm so glad I boomeranged from a comment you left me. This series is full of wall hangers, and I would be fulfilled should I have #2 and #5 in my portfolio.
