A small part of the ceiling at York Minster
Taken with the D50, 18-55mm, hand held
love the symmetry
do you have any more shots of this photogenic place?
thanks for sharing
I second that,
Very nice shot.
Thanks Greg and Dave. Yes I've got a few more Greg, I just need to get round to processing them
i hope that you will find that time, one day
thanks for your reply
Very interesting pic. I have seen a lot of church ceilings, but that is a bit unusual. Nice shot, it is so hard to get the picture balanced in shots like that.
Here are a couple from the outside of the Minster, the first one was taken from the 'York Eye' from 60m in the sky, but because it was through glass and moving its not as sharp as it could be.
Both taken with the D50, the first was with the Sigma 70-300 and the second with the 18-55
I've got a few of York Minister, if you want to take a look.
I'd like to go back a re-shoot sometime.
Other then some exposure issues with the windows on the side its a great shot. Would love to see this done in HDR to give more detail in the scene. Great job
