Due to a longer trail, I opted to carry the lighter D70 with 18-35mm lens instead. CC welcome.

    Nice shots.
    Are shots 1 & 2 Nevada Falls ?

I went to the falls a few years ago.
I was in Yosemite in June, but I couldn't be bothered to hike there, it was too hot.
I spent most of the day under a tree in the shade, trying to photograph some Stellar Jay's
  3. Really nice set.

I was there about 2 weeks ago but did not take the longer hike as it's 105º.

Yes, they are. And 3rd and 4th are shot on top of Nevada Fall. It wasn't that hot and it was a good decision just carrying a D70 and lens, rather than lugging all my gear the first time I visited, which I ended up only going as far as Vernal fall. My wife and 2 other friends on the other hand, hiked all the way to Half Dome and back to our campsite a little before 9pm.

Here is the link to my first Yosemite visit.

Thanks Phil. I notice, it gets hotter and hotter now.
Btw, I was born in HK, too. Do you live here or in HK?
