Found this little fella at one of my local parks, this is the first time I've ever seen a jumping Spider 🕸 in the wild new so friendly, he was doing all kinds of tricks for me for at least an hour, he ended up jumping on me and crawling all over me, inspecting his new found friend, after taking a bunch of pictures of him, I walked away to capture other critters, when I got back to his location he was still there and as soon as I got close to him he stayed doing his tricks again, then he jumped on my shoes and slowly crawled up to my chest, where he decided to stay put. So naturally I took him home, got him a nice home 🏡 and tasty crickets 🦗.
No I did not forcefully take him home with me.

1. Here he is in the wild on my finger, trying to capture this one with one hand was a challenge to say the least.

Here you are treating this spider as a friend while most of us humans would be freaking out. That is especially true if they could see it up close and personal as you have treated us to such a view. Very well photographed.

Thank you Gordon, jumping spiders don't bite unless feeling threatened, they are curious little critters. As humans we really don't know what is going on inside their heads "which is pretty much the case for every animal that does not use the same pattern/patterns of communication as the human animal" , we can only speculate.
