    Dear D2X friends,
I'm not sure if this "title" is applicable to my daughter.
Yesterday we celebrated mother's day and my daughter(11) and her friend(14) asked me for my D2X with an empty CF card.
The two girls enjoyed the afternoon until the CF card was full.
I was amazed what they "produced". It really helps to start early. See below for one example.
Anyone else who has experience with young photographers and D2X's?

    :D ,
    Andy

  3. Nice portrait! My daughter asked to use my D2x yesterday too...I laughed. She got the Canon S60.

  5. It's amazing what the kids can do when their mind's not cluttered with all the 'expertise' we lug around. :? This is really nice.

  6. I see you buying her a least a D-70.
    she has alot of potential

Did she realize she was holding her future car in her hands if she dropped it? :)

    Andy,

    that is a marvelous image.

I have the feeling this is not the first time the talented young lady has held a camera :>))) wink wink..

I also agree 100% with what John said.

Encourage her all the way. Seems to be a natural.

    Ya did good Dad

Many thanks to all for your nice and encouraging words.

Alexandra started quite early, she could barely hold my D1 at age of 6. Still have to smile remembering those days.
She's enjoying it and that is so important - learning through playing.
She really doesn't care about f-stops, RAW vs. JPEG, encrypted WB( :) ) or postprocessing with different tools.
I'm currently in Paris, have no access to my picture database at home (arghhh - machine is turned off),
but as soon as I return at the end of the week, I'll post some other pictures from this amazing "session".

Below is picture of my daughter hugging our dog.

    Best wishes to all,
    Andy
